A new twist...

Shirley took the Birds in a Twist class with Jackie. Don't you just love the "Wise Old Owl" saying?

 She added in more variety of birds to the project and the way she quilted the border was very wise indeed!

You are my Sunshine!

I have all these up-close pictures of her quilting which give the "plain" background such great texture! Raw-edge applique and a little dimension thrown in with the half-dresden plates! Just too cute for words!

Cathy's "Fine China" Quilt

Cathy outdid herself on the colors she chose! Just beautiful! The circles looked quite tricky to piece together, but well worth the trouble with a quilt as gorgeous as this! The metallic thread running through the design just sets the whole flower into a shimmer!

ButtonHead Bag

O my word! Isn't this just the cutest? The embroidery design incorporates covered buttons to add dimension to the design. Anne even stitched out the hair in a silvery gray metallic which was perfect! On our store sample we stitched them in hot pink as a breast cancer awareness project. 

Winter Redwork Runner

Just in time for winter...machine embroidered snowmen! A nice size project for a gift! I love that she did white snowmen on a dark background. 

An EPIC day for Kim!

Our newest addition to the Viking Family... Viking Designer Epic! Our Viking lovers are enthralled with its "epic" beauty!!  So easy to navigate the screens and you have to try the new "thread-it-for-you" needle threader! Soo much more light and space... Kim was thrilled!

Susie's "Yellow Lusciousness"

Such a pretty spring quilt! If you look close you can see a touch of mylar glisten and confetti applique! The shadow applique is bringing back a old technique in a new way, but the effect is still stunning!

Serious Stippler!

Elizabeth stippled this huge quilt on her Pfaff Creative Sensation! She is a super determined soul with no fear! I'm not sure any of us would have attempted this size of a quilt on our regular machines!!

Trapunto Applique

A twist on your typical applique project! Pre-quilted background blocks, invisible applique, puffy flowers, all using a quilt-as-you-go method! These girls did an amazing job in Cindy's class!

Guess who is ready for Christmas?

Pauline chose Christmas fabrics to make this "mock" Cathedral Window quilt! She is done and all ready for Christmas!

A finished ABC Sequel quilt!

Debra was tickled that she got this project done by the end of class! She even added a extra border! The perfect class for those ladies just getting started in quilting and who may be really new to their embroidery machines! One of our favorite quilts to pop a embroidery in!

Another Stunning Bargello by Anne

Just amazing! She has won ribbons for her bargellos! Her color run makes you think of pumpkins, ginger, and spice! I asked her how she was going to quilt it and she said "I'm going to echo the pattern not just run a pantograph across it"!

All about the Wine!

What a great gift idea! Embroidered wine bags & a matching table runner! Even the cork lining coordinates with her wine theme!

Paper-Pieced Desert Star

Peggy brought her granddaughter into the shop to pick out fabrics & a quilt style that she liked! Her granddaughter picked this paper-pieced beauty which she needed in a king size! So Peggy whipped up this masterpiece for her dear granddaughter! It is such a gift of love to spend the time making quilts for friends & family! We have the sweetest bunch of customers who seem to always give their quilts away... 

Stunning Bargello by Joyce

Do you need a challenge? This bargello quilt is a whopping 96"x99" with a range of color showing off 20 different fabrics! Donna Wilhide, the teacher of this workshop, recommends doing a more basic bargello before attempting such a challenging quilt.

Lou Ann's Baby Gift

She is so very creative! She made up her own pattern after falling in love with the Baby Train designs! That big Z you see is the Shape Creator ability in her Pfaff  that she utilized! Even her back is jazzed-up with a strip of patchwork!
