Debbie took Shana's Embroidery 101 class and totally revamped it into a sweet little girly quilt! Doesn't it make you think of..."sugar and spice and all things nice thats what little girls are made of"...! Carol used soothing spa colors in her Criss-Cross Quilt! If you hate to stipple or stitch-in-the-ditch this project is for you! You work with the individual blocks when quilting so you eliminate bulk in your machine, then your backing is brought to the front to make a cool sashing with a decorative stitch to top-it-off!

Debbie, Vickie, & Elaine!
A great class to learn how to use the NEW Grand Endless Hoop and practice precise positioning! Raw-edge applique makes it quick and the assembly is a 10- Minute process! Perfect Christmas gift!
We added a new class date for this project on Thursday August 30 9:30-4:00!

If you remember, our class sample is all cremes & whites, but Judy branched out and did a peaches n' creme theme! Her butterflies stitched out gorgeous and notice the all-over quilting design that she embroidered! Her quilt is finished with piping, ruching and a chenille border! Lots of texture and detail! A crowd pleaser!

Jackie did a summerlicious version of our Twister project! Our class sample was the whimsical snowman series! You blanket stitch around the motifs so it creates a "applique" look and then the border made with the little twisters... A perfect idea to jazz up those panels you just don't know what to do with!

Lots of snow flurries and snowmen stitched in such "cool" tones!
Elaine merged 2 different projects that Beverly taught to become this masterpiece! You may need to click on the picture to see the border up close! A ruched inner border framed by a chenille outer border makes for a perfect finish!

There is nothing like getting your project done by the end of class! Laverne picked wonderful blues, grays,
& taupes! Notice the skinny sashing that runs through the quilt, that is your backing brought to the front as you quilt each block!
Patricia had so much fun she made 2! Love her summer colors!

Such a refreshing, summery color palette, blues and yellows! Brenda accented her diamonds with a touch of white chenille, which really makes them pop! This project is one of the many that Beverly teaches! The tricky part, as always, is working with fabric on the bias.
