Show & Tell!!

At our December, Pfaff and Viking Clubs we had some really great show & tells! =) We just love all the creative things our customers manage to dream up!
Tina did napkins! She used the Viking card, Happy Holidays! The designs are Endless designs! I don't know if you can see the detail, but the design Tina choose has little angels all lined up with halos. =)
This is a version of our very popular Joys Snowman Quilt! It looks so different I had to do a double take!
Anne brought a wonderful "little" tote. She made the tote for her cutting mat! The tote looks like she pieced really small stripes together, but its only the fabric! (Her secret)
She found the pattern in a book we carry. Called 21 Sensational Patchwork Bags.
Anne also made a few embroidered bowls. This bowl was made entirely out of thread! Embroidered on water soluble stabilizer, which washes out and leaves a gorgeous thread bowl. I know some customers, who gave bowls as Christmas presents, and their family thought they were to nice to use!
This one was done with variegated thread!
Anne has been very busy! This is a larger version of our Applecore sample!
Our "Show & Tell" was: How to embroider on towels, sweat shirts. Using sticky stabilizer and water soluble stabilizer. Here is a picture of our Viking Designer SE embroidering a candlewicking design on a dinner napkin, using metallic thread. The napkin looked soooo good when it was done! I want one.. or two...
Well that is all for now, Merry Christmas to all my faithful "bloggers"! ;)

Wilsons at the Mall!!

Guess what!?! Wilsons has a new store! Ok so it is just temporary. We are sharing a spot at the Valley Mall! We are only there till the end of the year.
Take a look around our 'new' store.
You just have to come in and take a look! We love when our customers visit!
Two of our customers left us display their quilts. This one was made by Jill. The pattern is from our Butterfly Love Ring Class. Quilted by Donna. Miss. Jill just had a little baby boy, who we can't wait to see! =)
Vicki was the other customer. Vicki is notorious for completely giving our projects a make-over! The pattern is from our Moda Berries class. We featured Vicki's quilt in our Febuary post, were you can also see a picture of the original.
In the front window, we have a quilt Beverly made for her younger brother. Its a graduation gift!
Our Creative Pfaff 2170 takes the spotlight, right inside the front door. Her name is Emily. ;)
A full selection of mid-line Pfaff's. Great Christmas gifts! (We gift wrap)
The Grand Quilter on her new Next Generation Quilt Frame! Only half of her is set up, but you can still come down and try her out!
And last but not lest, Wilsons Christmas Wish List! Fill out our Christmas Wish List, and send your family in to do some shopping. Don't return you gifts because it was the wrong thing! Let the Wilsons staff take care of everything! Get additional savings during our Christmas Open House on December 12.

Software Class

One of our many software classes! If you buy your 3D Embroidery Software at Wilsons. We will teach you how to use it. =)

Pfaff Event

On Wednesday, Sept 13. We had a Pfaff Event, were we showed off our brand new Pfaff hoops and embroidery cards! The brand new Next Generation Quilters Frame! The Creative Fabric Mover with Stitch Regulator! Wow! So much new stuff! Time to make a Christmas Wishlist!! =)
Our very full parking lot!
We split into three groups. LaVonne was in charge of Group 1. Cards, hoops, and a brand new candlewicking foot.
Bonnie with Group 2. She was showing the Next Generation Quilters Frame.
Kathy was heading up Group 3. She was showing them the endless possibilities of the Creative Fabric Mover with Stitch Regulator!
Her awe struck audience =)
One of the perks of the evening? Bring your machine in and get a free upgrade! Marshall called in reinforcements as you can see. Donovan (Bonnies hubby), Bruce (Marshall brother), Walter (junior repairman).
I believe we had 22 Pfaffs in that night.

Never To Young To Quilt

You can never be to young to quilt ;)

Bettys Bearpaw Quilt

Betty brought this gorgeous Bearpaw quilt in. Trust me when I say it looks drastically different then ours.
Check out the quilting!!

Log Cabin Reunion

Our ABC's of Quiltmaking class, is our very basic beginner class. We see sooo many of these quilts go through our doors. Their owners move on to do another one Log Cabin or pick another slightly harder quilt. Before we know it they're experienced quilters. Its like watching your children grow. (sniff, sniff) =) Last class schedule we had genius idea! What if we had a Log Cabin reunion, and we could see all this quilts from the same pattern & each and everyone of them looks different. Our little reunion became a reality. The ladies came back in with their quilts and showed them off, then they had food & got to catch up with their classmates. =) Fun! Fun!
Gloria, you are a sweet heart=)
Nancy stepped outside the box, which we love!
